Here's Ed Yardeni's view of economic projections for US bonds yields.

Go to page 9 of his overview where he discusses how the spot gold price leads 10 year gov't bonds prices by approx 15 months. (See Chart #14).

Yardeni's model calls for us retracing last falls bond yields as see a continuous of the trend toward global deflation in pricing power.
