I have read some articles by Raff, but not his book. Line studies often fool us, they are easy on the eye to view the past. But when actually using them with no bars to the right, the trend identfication is late. take a piece of paper, cover chart and show left side, one bar at a time on a chart you aren't familar with. They are often good to identify exits of intermediate or longterm trends.
