These numbers to be reported should be much better excuses for "profit taking" than Argentina, I'm sure.

If the numbers look too good, then there's always the specter of inflation, while if the numbers are worse than expected, they can make forward-looking statements about a potentially strong next quarter (Intel stocks survived recently as a result) to minimize fears. I think the analysts will try their best to neutralize these numbers.

Should be interesting to see how things will play out in a few weeks.
