well managed companies like those you mention always seem expensive. yet they keep making new highs. i would prefer to buy puts on the dogs that appear cheap but have no future. the recent run up in the 'value stocks' was an aberration in my view. both standard and poor and value line have a good list of sell candidates. i doubt if msft, sunw or ibm would be among them. regards
