Walter, RE: VCALL You stated... I was shocked that they used my question in the interview. Actually, I took the question from a question somebody asked me on the SNDK thread. My hat is off to you. I listened to the broadcast tonite with Mr. Chan and I knew exactly who sent in that e-mail. You have been a solid supporter of E.dig and I give you a lot of credit for that. For a few seconds I thought Nelson Chan was going to say, "Well, I am not allowed to discuss any future agreements between SanDisk and E.dig." I do think that he clarified the situation. The Micro OS needs to be associated or intertwined with a software application. It is not used in generic CompactFlash because file storage alone is a relatively simple ordeal. SanDisk is trying to keep the CF card "pure and simple" to insure compatibility. Thus, I believe E.dig's success will be dependent on the number of industry partners and the magnitude of the deals that are penned. It would go against my investment principles to invest in E.dig right now. I would need to see a few quarters of earnings in order to feel confident. Right now I see it as a highly speculative play based primarily on the Intel and Lucent announcements. Without a deeper understanding of their strategic plan the gamble seems to have to much downside for now. I hope that there will be enough time to react once E.dig gets its feet on solid ground.
