Be careful when speaking to the IPO department at Schwab. When they ask you if you view your IPO request as:

1) short term
2) growth/speculative
3) long term

if you give 1 or 2 as your answer, you will be denied. The only correct answer is 3) long term.

just a word of advice for those trying to get IPO shares through schwab.. even though answer #2 is perfectly reasonable and correct, you will automatically be denied. (not while you're on the phone, they don't want people to know which answer is incorrect)
