About.com Announces Agreement with Broadcast.com to Host All-Talk
Internet Radio Show

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1999--About.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: BOUT) announced today it has signed a
business services agreement with broadcast.com (Nasdaq: BCST) to provide Internet broadcasting services for the company's
all-talk Internet radio program "Talking About This Week." Under the agreement, broadcast.com is hosting About.com's live and
on-demand streaming audio programming, which showcases About.com's network of more than 650 expert human Guides. The
show is available live every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm (ET) and can be accessed at
(www.broadcast.com/shows/aboutcom/radioshow), as well as the Talk Radio icon on the About.com homepage. All shows will
be archived and made available on demand on broadcast.com.
