Just for fun my qualitative guesses as to how LSI's various biz segments are doing based on industry-wide goings on (scale is A+ to E): ----- DVD: A+ (unless they've screwed up and lost designs) Digital Cameras: A+ (virtually a certainty) Storage Components: A+ (certainty) Networking: A (likely extremely strong) Storage Systems: A (certainty) STB: A (in top 3) Telecom: A (likely market recovery but Europe seasonal + quiet) Servers and Workstations: B+ (guessing - likely stable biz) Sony Playstation: B (units flattening out) Other Computer: ? B say (no clue?) Wireless Basestations/Handsets: B/B+ (C?) (this is the big ? mark - LSI should address this in conference call) ----- Overall: A/A-
