CiVic - glad to help, dude. Honest opinion? MB Trading is run by some solid, very reliable guys, Steve & Ross. They don't blow their own horn, but it's a smooth-running, very classy operation with a large staff all with the right attitude, can't beat it -- everything gets done, and nothing turns into a mystery like so many similar brokerages. Most people at MBT seem to have trading experience/interest but are not trading now, so they are savvy and taking care of operations, customers, their network and servers, customer issues, etc. Result? Best place to trade! I am not affiliated or paid off <g>, just a private trader who's brokeraged all over (I'm Palo Alto on www.TigerInvestor.com, you can get my war stories and background there).
Another great thing about MBT is, they are affiliated with Terranova so you get excellent direct-access to ARCA ECN (different than just getting TNTO quotes and indirect ARCA access), which is a terrific complement to ISLD. Most daytraders just learn the ISLD tricks and never discover ARCA... especially if you trade large it's a godsend (the ARCA ECN was valued at over $100M by private investors including Goldman Sachs & JP Morgan... think about that). I've done some Tutorial posts about ARCA over on the Daytrading Fundamentals thread, and there is some good info on MBT's site. Also check out www.phactor.com... RTIII is pretty good but you have to work with it for a while to get it setup right, I still use other charting SW to complement it. Also, recommend you consider getting 'Position Manager' and 'StockTax' from Madhur as a complement to RTIII (see Si thread on "RIM"). Good trading,
