I had always assumed that Armstrong's agreement with MSFT would be competitive. I did not believe that AT&T would lock themselves exclusively into CE set-tox boxes, although many thought that they might.

The company that AT&T takes over had already signed an agreement with Sun. Armstrong said a long time ago that he intended to honor that agreement.

Sun should do well, don't you think?
