The MOT facility is clearly intended to "steal" Qcom engineers. Maybe some Sony ones. I wonder if MOT is locating its facility on high ground with a direct line of sight to Qcom. MOT will have to pay a pretty penny. Can MOT offer the kind of money from stock options? Decidedly not. Engineers who leave lose their unvested options. Wouldn't it be funny if MOT threw a party and nobody came?
