Just tuned in to Fox news to watch the premiere of TheStreet.com to find that it is pre-empted due to the disappearance of JFK Jr's plane. I am surprised at the emotions I feel over this. These past years I took John-John to be a not very serious fellow and I generally dismissed him. But thinking back to 1963, I remember as a 7 year old watching the aftermath of the assassination, the world had really turned upside down. I had never seen adults become so upset. JFK was like God in our house. Then, at the funeral, when John-John bravely saluted his father, that was the most inspiring thing anybody said or did during that dark period. It really bucked up this little kid. I have felt some type of kinship ever since, I just didn't realize how strong it was until today. I pray they find him, if they don't I pray for the repose of his soul.
