I don't see how you can determine date/sale information from that chart since the chart is given for the purpose of more general information and not specific dates/sales.

Obviously, today, with IOM's new closing low since December 12 1996, it would appear that the shorts have won the war. But, no, they've won a battle. According to our checks, Zip sales are as strong this quarter as they were last quarter which is good. Emerald and JP Morgan only expect .12 in EPS for this quarter and a sequential decrease in Zip sales of 20% which would be inline with expectations. If Zip sales are as good this quarter as last, then Iomega is actually ahead of the analysts game.

"Slowdown in Zip sales"... The first quarter of the year is the slowest quarter for all computer peripherals. Some of this slowness is being automatically averaged into IOM's price. It's the long term that you should concentrate on. Shorts, however, in the case of IOM, have generally concentrated on the short term, in my opinion.
