Toy, You were right about the future of NDS; zdnet.com OTOH MSFT will not be able to force their proprietary standards on the industry since that strategy is now being frowned on - unlike 5 years ago. MSFT does not have to "force their proprietary standards". Those standards have already be accepted. And they were not forced, they were chosen. You have a serious emotional blindspot in an otherwise very logical mind.
