I need some help. Just got a new Dell computer with a 9.0 gig hard drive. I read on one thread where I can setup my own swap file instead of using windows 98 manage it for me. The recommended size was 2 to 21/2 times the size of my ram. This should keep my swap file in one continious section if I use the same size for min and max when setting this up. Is this a good idea to do or should I let windows manage the swap file size? One more question. When I use defraq is defraq moving my swap file around each time. Is there any way to keep the swap file in one permanent location on the hard drive so when I defraq it will not take so long. thanks
