Yes, Spots certainly is a funny guy. Please allow me to ask a question for any Windows 98 guru's around today.

I'm running Windows 98 on a Dell system and have a question regarding the Start Menu and Start/Programs menu. On each of theses, my applications are not listed in alphabetical order. I would like to put them in order now but don't know how to do it.

When using Windows Explorer and looking at the Windows/Start directory and Windows/Start Menu/Programs directory, I see everything listed in alphabetical order, no problem. However, when using the Start button from the Desktop to view these, they are not in alphabetical order.

Actually, it seems that the first half the list is in alphabetical order, then the second half of the list is in a second alphabetical order using Start button as if everything was originally in order, but then a second order was established at some later point, possibly if I inadvertently changed some setting in Windows. I suspect this is the case, but I haven't a clue as to what I might have done to cause this, or what I can do now to correct it.

Any help or ideas is much appreciated. Thanks.

Bill
