Congrats on MDLI ... hope you took profits. Shares in MDL Information Systems Inc rallied 13-7/8 to 31-1/8 after Reed-Elsevier said Monday it had agreed to buy MDL for $320 million.

Software application stock prices change on a dime. Among today's special situations, Medic Computer Systems Inc shares were down 13-7/8 at 14-1/8 after the company said first quarter results would be below Wall Street expectations. HCIA trading at 23+ in sympathy ... it was at 40+ recently.
