The ipo formula is the hot investing fad of late, although certain elements really make zero sense to me. Considering the conflict of interest, underwriters initiating positive coverage post quiet time should hold little value, while lack of coverage or an unfavorable rating deserves greater influence. Lack of shortable shares during the quiet period is the only real advantage IMO.

Paradise Valley Securities, Inc. is the only underwriter for PASA & lacks ipo history/experience. PASA assumes underdog status going up against the likes of STRM, AOL & MSFT. Most alarming is the fact that they have no revenue. The false Ricky Martin rumor was the only notable item to cause a surge. PASA may see a run up next week but if it does I will eagerly be waiting to take my short position. All JMHO.
