Hi, Wily,

I don't know if I made myself clear in my original post, but let me say it again breifly:

My list of programs IS in alphabetical order when I view the directory in Windows Explorer. However, when I view the programs list using the Start Button on the desktop, the list is NOT in alphabetical order. So, perhaps I mis-understand your suggestion, but I don't need to drag and drop anything in the directory, they are all in order already. It's only when I view them from the Start button that they are out of order. Actually, they are in two groups of alphabetical order, one above the second.

I tried making a new Program directory and dragging all the program folders into it, then renaming it. That seemed to work for a minute, then things got screwed up and I thought I lost the directory at one point. Now, it's back to original condition. I'm not sure what I had for a bit there.

So, how to arrange things in order on the Start button Programs list even if they already appear in order viewing them from Windows Explorer?

Thanks,

Bill
