"Why change if it ain't broke" Apparently, You haven't had a group of surveyors with chain saws, 4 wheelers, 4 wheel drive vehicles, etc., parading, running and in general, going wild on your property. This is only one of several advantages of "flying" a property instead of using convential seismic techniques. From a landman's point of view, not having to buy rights-of-ways, damage settlements, and temporary easements, and put up with irate surface owners, is a superior way. Put this together with results that are (as claimed by Stamm) 5 times better with regards to finding the product, and you do indeed have a far better product. Also, I have yet to see an exploration company that doesn't care about dry holes. What else needs to be said about Emsounder. I can just hear the oil company executives after one of their "buddies" companies has just sent them on their 14th straight dry hole. Don't worry, its only money.
