Yes- I figure they (non-humans) don't have the sense we have. Thousands of people die every day- it annoys me when "special" people die in stupid ways and everyone gets all dewy eyed. Good people die every day in totally unavoidable ways- I feel very very sorry for them. I have no pity for people who seek their own death and who do not take precautions (didn't one of the Kennedys eat it by skiing into a TREE while playing football? You are never supposed to ski in trees- or at least that's what my ski instructors told me. Maybe if you're rich they tell you something else)
