No harm intended and I'm not slamming anyone. I just don't think Justa or anyone else should go into attack mode when someone tries to bring some balance to this thread. Those who feel most threatened by positions which differ from their own are usually those who should take a closer look at their positions.

I've listened to Bob for years. He has never given a sell signal. Not once. Are you claiming that in the 14 years since Moneytalk has been on, there have never been times when selling into weakness and buying back into strength would have been prudent?

I made a fortune doing that last Fall. I'm not tooting my own horn here but only trying to make the point that staying fully invested through the course of major corrections is not my game. That's probably what the average mom and pop should do (as they have no idea when to time entry and exit points) and that's why Bob espouses it.

You can bet your shorts Bob times the market with stocks that he "trades". Thus, he is not always fully invested either.

best regards,

LIG
