Ken - Nikolai Mikhailov, Russia's First Deputy Minister of Defence and State Secretary, in his remarks during talks between Colonel-General Zhang Wannian, Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Council of the People's Republic of China, and the Command of Russia's Pacific Fleet, has stated that "Russia's strategic cooperation with China and India will rise to a qualitatively new level soon". Is the before or after the bury us... as Nikita K so delighted in threatening. I'd like to know just how many times did either Russia or China subject us to regular reconnaissance overflights. How long was the U2 doing it's thing before they got lucky? 3 years? And just where was the SR71 stretching it's legs? Setting cross-country speed records? Those guys have far, far bigger problems now... if they can get a little extra mileage & sense of security from bluff & bluster, I say "God, bless 'em." - David
