I do have to name drop -- I know Mohonk well, and it is an extraordinary place. I lived in the Poughkeepsie area for five years and became good friend with the Smileys and many of the people running the House. Haven't been back now for 25 years, and stopped exchanging Christmas cards maybe 10 years ago, but from what I understand from friends still back there, it hasn't changed much.
