Jon K., Are you comparing FFIV to BAMM, SKYM, EGGS, and ONSL? I wouldn't think so, but then again who knows. People are starting to realize that e-commerce companies are a dime a dozen. Broadband infrastructure is where it's at. Everybody wants and needs a fatter pipe, as I'm sure you understand. With FFIV's small float it doesn't take much to send it into orbit, add a short squeeze and this stock can blow through 100 before you know it.

I don't think you can compare FFIV to AOL or YHOO, but you can compare CSCO to them. There are many ISP's and portals that have done very well over the last few years following in AOL's and YHOO's footsteps. I'll bet my last dollar that FFIV and the like will do just as well if not better in the broadband industry.

The number of Internet users is increasing at an astonishing rate, somebody needs to direct this traffic, and create management tools to help business's manage the availability and performance of their servers and applications. Guess who has the technology to do this?

The numbers of Internet users:

142 million worldwide in 1998
502 million worldwide in 2003
That's 72 million added per year or 197,000 a day.

63 million in United States in 1998
177 million in United States in 2003
That's 23 million added per year or 62,500 per day.

Theres no doubt you can make money shorting these stocks on their huge spikes, but in the long run you will loose.

Regards
