Friend, be assured that you are not alone on this planet: I too thought The Fifth Element was a gas!...I remember hearing of Suburbia, I just never saw it. As a quasi- punk fan (I like the Ramones alot), perhaps I will seek it out...I have thought a bit about the sci- fi category. I am inclined to vote for 12 Monkeys at this moment, but I am not certain by any means...On musicals: to my mind, the only true rival of Cabaret is West Side Story. Even someone who does not like musicals may like it!
