gdichaz, my thoughts exactly,my favorite two widgets suppliers are CAMP and DMIC. I got a ton of CAMP around 4,and fully loaded on that issue. Strong insider buying, new CEO who is 42(Fred Sturm),a reason to turn around the sector economically(the buyout of spectrum by FON and MCI). All things in CAMP are a go, I expect them to blowout earnings this quarter. One other thing is,they bought out a competitor with over 20 million in sales for approximately 9 million, and they did it with cash! That takes guts, and a belief in what you are doing. It isn't like Yahoo or AOL spending monopoly money to buy out other companies. I doubt Yin or Yang would pay over 4 dollars cash for a company, they would spend real money on something real like a cheeseburger. I also like DMIC,they seem to be turning around, but they have had a run. Similar situation, insider buying,etc... I really believe that CAMP is a mini-HLIT,but I could be wrong. There is a lot of industry jockeying, especially from CSCO,who bought out a company called Clarity Networks who has found a way to circumvent the LOS issues. They are also in with MOT on the rebuying of Bosche's LMDS division(who they bought from HP). LUcy is funding the companies buying their equipment like ARTT,and also WCII. CAMP makes the best two-way antenna subsystems in the world, sectorized, cross polarized. They are well regarded in the MMDS arena, they were the leader there for many years. But wireless cable companies mostly ran out of money and the RBOC's pulled out from the issues like CAI. Funny how the RBOC's are always trying to destroy and destabilize things rather than moving them forward. Hiram |
