Jerks Hawking JFK Jr Merchandise on EBAY cgi.ebay.com It appears now that JFK had only 46 hours flight instruction before getting his license. He had only recently bought the plane he was flying (last week), and that he was not instrument-capable to fly the plane. He probably flew only on visual. I had read one story also that he tried to get permission to rappel down Mt. Rushmore but park officials declined his request.
