OK. Here's my idea for a perfect Silicon Investor message page.
On the top border, I'd put a pale yellow bar. There'd be a series of links in blue type, which would say: SI, Inbox(n)|Folders, Bookmarks|People, Hot Subjects|New Subjects, Options|Profile. Make the font arial, say regular size + 1.
Then there'd be a pale blue line, with no white space, listing my SI portfolios. That might or might not be sullied by a sponsorship link, but at this point, that's the least of my worries.
Then there'd be a clean, well defined path to the subject I'm on, such as Talk: Market Trends: Befriend The Trend Trading.
Then there'd be three clean links in the upper left, above a boxed message. They'd say Previous Next Respond.
The message would take up no more than half the width of page. The top left would have navigation headers regarding who the message is to and who it is from.
The top right would have a posting timestamp and a navigatable reply box.
I could go on.... |
