I am long LQID (you can't short an IPO for 90 days), however, this is a nascent industry, with big payoffs..down...the...road. To think there will be a dominant player within a short-term, is unwise at best. Yes, I agree that speculation of which technology will get adopted will drive the stock short term, but I guarantee you, 1 year from now, this playing field will be very different than it is right now. For a great read on this industry, and its players. Please pick up this month's 'Wired' magazine ("I want my MP3"). Right now, everyone from Intel, to MSFT, to Paul Allen to RNWK is hedging bets in this marathon. One company is NOT going to dominate this space or become a standard. It is going to be a collection of indusrty leaders who will direct this revolution. I am betting that LQID is going to be a part of it, not control it. |
