Good post - but the Taiwan situation will diffuse in a few days.

Regarding over estimating growth, virtually every industry does it. We as investors should see through it, and get out of the stock before its too late. The semi industry will see its peak in 2001. That will be good time to bail out. For 1999 and 2000 stay invested for some decent gains.
