Ron, if you haven't seen the articles out about the Russkies building gigantic underground cities, enough to house very large segments of large cities, and obviously also, of course, the komissar comrades, including the Russian Mafia, I will find and post it for you.
In any case, when have the Russes cared about losing a couple dozen million or so lost souls (witness WWW1, WWW2, the purges, forced collecitivation, etc)??
Besides, fewer mouths and begging hands, the less they have to grovel for before the west, right?
I'm sure the Chinese komissars wquld gladly love to off-load about a billion or so potentially disruptive non-believers- additionally, I believe (but don't recall any authoritative articles regarding) their building of huge underground cities also.
Very curious, Ron- EXACTLY where do you think you would end up if you were vaporized?
