Bald Eagle: <to store gasoline?>>

There are a number of factors to first be answered. First, how much do you plan to store? Which grade? What are your relevant zoning and fire dept regs where you live? Space availability? Are you aware that the noise from generators will be like a BEACON, attracting potential looters and jealous neighbors? How much do you want to budget for your system and gas? Why not investigate solar instead?

Underground is the best overall solution, if possible.

You stated "if the supply of gasoline becomes disrupted"-

not 'if', but--

just some of the relevant questions are:

...how long will it be disrupted?
...what amount will we get from foreigh sources? Domestic?
...increase in price- I predict at least $10 per gallon.
...how much gas will be able to be refined.
...will the available supply be rationed, and for how long? I have seen insider reports (not totally confirmed) indicating they have SEEN gas rationing cards in the process of being printed up.
Under rationing of gas, govt and utilities and crucial transport, emergency workers, and vip govt officials get the first
allotments- the public gets the last, if any remaining.
...under martial law, the govt will NOT want the public having gas (for their autos), for obvious reasons

I have seen some articles describing the various possiblities for gas storage- would you like me to post them when I see them or new ones?
