DCF, just curious.... do you ever think that maybe you better look into something before you expound on the matter and thus make a complete arse of yourself?

The issue with Robin Hood school taxation is that property taxes were raised in some cases by a factor of 3 in Texas, in order to collect more property taxes from the wealthy districts to give to the poorer districts. There had been a number of legal challenges to the state gov't about inequity in Texas schools for the rich vs. poor districts. For some reason this one was upheld and the outcome was to increase some homeowner's property taxes such that they saw the equity in their homes collapse. The issue with Bush is that he did nothing about it.

Now this sounds like the kind of thing most republicans that I know of detest.... taxing the rich to give to the poor and all but you must be all for it, eh? Congratulations! I know you must have known what you were commenting on before you flapped your mouth off, right?
