talking, of course, about empirical earnings, right?

wrong. why not talk about msft's booming business growing at about 1/3 its pe? doh! i just answered that question. msft's empirical numbers aren't that great relative to a half tril stock, therefore, no need to discuss them.

only emotional folks would care about valuations and the like while analytic types buy thing b/c they go up and stop setting price targets b/c they are surpassed so quickly and then they have to reset new ones.
