Chuckles - Re: "Boy, what an optimist you are! Intel is used to do 3 price cuts a year and they are doing three price cuts a quarter now. So much for the "pricing power" of Intel!"

Get up to date.

Intel abandoned quarterly price cuts when AMD began Kamikaze pricing - 2 1/2 years ago.

Futher, Intel's price cuts may appear quite often only because they put SEGMENTED price cuts into effect.

Price cuts for Desktop CPUs, Servers, Value CPUs and Mobile CPUs are generally done SEPARATELY, at DIFFERENT TIMES.

I know - you prefer AMD with a virtual SINGLE PRODUCT LINE - not this hokey segmented thingy that Intel has !

Of course, now you're praying that AMD can successfully implement segmentation !

Keep praying - the AMDroids have had wonderful success with this practice over the years !
