I wonder why SI is deciding to forklift upgrade their site rather than evolve a perfectly good site. Is there some underlying design flaw that we are unaware of that requires the change? Maybe it is not Y too Kay compliant<g>

It does seem like a questionable business decision in that it now provides an opportunity for members that would never think of looking elsewhere because of the familiarity with the user interface to look at the competition.

I gave the beta site a try and found it cumbersome. I reported one obvious bug. But I didn't report that navigation sucked because it is too damn much work to try and explain how to make it better. I think that this will skew the input that SI gets. Bugs are easy to report, basic design flaws are a lot of work to describe and document.
