If their was any doubt it should be answered now, Qwest's a winner. Not purely by getting US West, but by proving it can play hardball with the big boys and come out on top. With US West in our camp, and Bell South wanting to do something more then 10% share, I doubt if it will be to long before a merger of equals occurs, and the name of the combined companies will be Qwest.
