Anyone here have any opinions on exit strategies when the time comes?

Is there a certain price earnings ratio when some will start to exit?
A certain sentiment level?

I believe it was Bernard Baruch who said that he got rich in the stock market 'by selling too soon'. Don't be afraid to leave some on the table for the next guy. If I recall correctly he was one big investor who didn't get caught in the crash of 1929. For the past year or so Warren Buffet has been saying he can't find any values in the market. In economics, there is a model called 'the stadium problem'; it's a lot harder to get out if you wait until the crowd wants to leave at the same time.
