lol. i'm sure the mob also has a family ("earn a living"). the problem is that that "big" order on either side may not stay for more than a few seconds. this is what creates more volatility: when you don't stand by your pledge/suport and the stock moves. i just had the case with not having time to respond to a considerably large offer (on a low volume stock) because it was taken off maybe 10 seconds later. the sad part is there are so many new traders ("losers"?) today that may not know the tricks and just get wiped out.
