A good example is Marsfontein. They moved in signed a deal with the heirs, reached a settlement with SUF and then forced SUF to sell all of the production to the CSO. Having done that, they then passed the whole project(their share) to a black empowerment group. What I was trying to get across was the idea that De Beers never does anyone a favour. Deals with De Beers are good only for De Beers.
