Big Beginners boo-hoo, I gotta share. New to trading, (6wks), MG, (1 week). Other risk factors: Hawaii, (3:30am mkt. open), 2 game-playing sons, 1 computer. Wed., I missed my perceived big deals, so stayed up very late that night, studied, marked my targets,rose at 3:15am, dreaming of far-away vacations, new cars, etc. Ohmigod, watched a while,now 4:30am ready to punch those keys NOW! Went right for #2,and suddenly, I have no E. Spilled milk the night before. AHHH, no matter I think, and took it apart to clean. 1 more hour, still won't work, so I pick # 1,click on my broker, bid a # and a fraction. OOHHHH, no backspace either, had made an unerasable mistake, bid abandoned. So, no E stocks, mistakes either. It's 5:30, I'm getting perturbed. I suddenly remember an old keyboard which I tear the house apart for, and 30"later, I think I'm in business. I smile and punch it in. Heartbreak hotel here, this one has no C, and no spacebar (probably juice this time). I see on CNBC, my WL #s with all the E's and C's going up and up. Always the big one that got away, huh? So I get an idea. I punch in the C, and without further ado, pull the plug on 1 keyboard, plug the other one in, and slam in the E, it worked, I'm elated. Next, I need a space, can't bid any fractions without it I realize. Somehow, the plug-shuffle doesn't let me be this time, and makes me totally re-boot. I did have to sit and laugh tho, all by myself here in the pre-dawn blackness, honestly tho, that WAS the day that my ship was due, hasn't happened again. Thursday, with a new keyboard, I sank! Oh well, tomorrow's a new day. Could we get a list, Jenna, stocks with no E's or C's, and no fractions? Where is Big Bird when we need him? I do know I could have called the broker, but way too embarrassed to call wanting 25 or 50 shares. I'll get there tho, if I can just get a vowel whenever I want. Hope this makes somebody laugh.
