MG, Some final observations.

At 6/25, 22 of the 65 Big Boyz were below the weekly MA; whereas, at 7/16, only 12 were below.

BASIC looks at the combination of the weekly Sto and MACD. At 6/25 16 were bullish and 49 were bearish. At 7/16. it was about reversed with 46 bullish and 19 bearish.

BAMBI looks at the direction of the weekly MACD. The results at 6/25, 22 were bullish and 43 were bearish; whereas, at 7/16 42 were bullish and 23 were bearish. Seems to look good for the good guys.

The problem I have is that at 6/25 23 of the Big Boyz were less than zero, 8 were between zero and the Index, and 34 were greater than the Index. At 7/16, 19 were less than zero, 12 were between zero and the Index, and 34 were above the Index. Just don't see the improvement to justify the move in the Index.

Historically, I have observed a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 disposition. Thus, the decline appears to be targeted at the over Index excess to the between zero and the Index performance group. This is not to imply that some of the rich will become richer, and some of the poor will become poorer.
