Periscopes up on Gemstar

Stew, thanks for all the good info on Gemstar. I have my periscope on it.

I plunge on a Gorilla once I buy into it, but I wait until I am very sure before I do. That gives me the confidence to "bet the farm".

I want to see three things before I buy Gemstar.

1: Has it cross the "Chasm"?

2. Has it established a pattern of earnings?

3. Has it increased its size to "Big Cap"?

Gemstar is still in the wings on these three, IMO.

By waiting, I pay more, but I cut my risk to almost zero, as far as bad company news. We are always at risk for bad market news, no matter what we buy.

And even though I pay more, I still get one hell of a run for my money.

Perhaps Gemstar's rise will coincide with Q's maturity, when its price stabilizes. That would be nice timing.

We leads in a dancehall have a saying, when we have a lot of good partners available, that it is a "target rich environment" With Gorillas like Q, MSFT, and Cisco available, Kings like LU, and up and coming potential Gorillas like Gemstar, we "Knights of the G&K thread" certainly can say the same!
