Hello Alan and All: You hit the nail on the head. Good ole boys are often damn good businessmen. I am not an oil man, I am a copywriter.
I know that there is one universal in human nature that you can take to the bank and that is risk-avoidance. If the EMSounder does what it is purported to do, independents will have access to a very powerful risk avoidance tool. They are savvy businesmen who exist in an industry that is driven by technology. If UPR gushes, so will IMMM's sales.
One other thing, the key to marketing is to find the pain that a customer feels about a particular problem and then find a way to relieve that pain. I think the EMSounder (and its competition) will be the opiate for all the major resource companies. It will heal that bleeding bottomline that they are always screaming about...
Per, thanks for the link to the sub-surface radar site. I will be researching it tonight.
Mad Monk, you sound more sane every day. I have had zippo luck talking to Peter B. or anyone at IMM which is beginning to concern me. Try five calls, five days in a row with no response. Hmmm....maybe next time I'll tell them that Bill Gates is calling.
Companies like IMMM make investing fun. For the next five weeks or so, while the well is drilled, all we will be talking about is whether or not this damn technology works. If it doesn't we lose all our money and we're dummies. If it does, we're geniuses. You may as well put your chips down and let the wheel spin on this one. I'm an owner but still doing my due diligence which is proving harder to perform than I expected.
Sorry to ramble on, but did it occur to anyone that maybe these guys want this stock to go down until the well is proven. Is someone betting on a sure thing here? Someone may think they are. Just speculating, no pun intended.
Anyone have any hard financial data on this company?
