Coby, the US sent millions of dollars of arms and materials and food for free to GuoMinDang for over a decade bet. 1930s and 1940s, and the US gov. even built and managed an organization, actually was a prison, called China-U.S. Co-operative Institution(using CIA technology) in Chongqing during 1946 to 1949. That prison was used to jail, torture and interrogate the anti-Chiang 's Nationalist(KMT) government actives and communists, needless to say, without a trial. Before KMT withdrew from the city, they executed all the prisoners including women and children held there. Both Jiang Zemin and Li Peng are orphans. Their parents are killed by the KMT in that way, a "nice" example for the US human right claim!
The US gov. spent millions of dollars on Jiang's gov., but that did not prevent them to be defeated by Liberation Army. So why will this time be different? |
