X the unknown, In fairness to mainland CHINA, the evacuation of the CHINESE military under CHIANG KAI SHEK did their share of destroying cultures also. I dont have the exact figures and it pushings my memory back over 20 years, but if I recall correctly over 500,000 native TAIWANESE were slaughter when CHIANG invaded and wanted to make TAIWAN his home. At that time mainland CHINA was starving and just starting to recover from the butchering from the JAPANESE. There are few who realise that the CHINESE had their share of a HOLOCAUST similar to the numbers of the JEWISH HOLOCAUST, where the JAPANESE used CHINESE as guinea pigs for their researsh in chemical warfare and other stuff. With the CHINESE is such dispare, CHIANG moved his government, with the help of the AMERICANs/U.N. stripping almost all of CHINA's financial wealth. Keep in mind that CHIANG was married to one ot the SOONG sisters whos family monopolised the financial industry in CHINA. I am not a supporter of Chinese communism, but I try to view the CHINA situation objectively. seeya
