Here are the possible smart choices for accounting firms:

The Big 4 in alphabetical order (there have been a lot of mergers!)

Arthur Andersen
Deloitte & Touche
KPMG, Ernst & Young
PricewaterhouseCoopers

If MRPS is serious about making the SEC reporting deadline for OTC stocks, let alone about getting onto the Big Board, they had better hire one of the "big boys." But we all know their history.....So does anyone want to lay a bet on whether we go Big 4 or Joe's Discount Auto & Accounting?

Searching the net, we have only a handful of other large accounting firms that I think are suitable to handle the SEC task.

Axley & Rode ..... Lufkin, TX
Baird, Kurtz & Dobson ..... Nationwide
Gaines Metzler Kriner & Company ..... Buffalo, NY
Hacker Young ..... Worldwide w/ UK focus
Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co ..... Minneapolis, MN
McGladry Pullen ..... Davenport, IA
Richard A Eisner & Co ..... Northeast US

I agree with some of your statements Mike...especially the cracks about the accountants. However I am torn between wanting a seasoned "professional" PR firm and liking "our boys." A seasoned professional firm would write beautifully crisp PR's; on the other hand, they probably would not take the detailed interest in the company that "the boys" have. I am not sure that a professional PR firm would have been able to publish any more PR's than SSA has been allowed to.

I do not believe that a professional PR firm would have cared whether or not MRPS reports to the SEC on time as long as they pay their PR fees. I think that SSA has been instrumental in prodding MRPS to get on the stick regarding the accounting firm and will hopefully steer them towards a firm of the appropriate quality level. I am crossing my fingers for the Big 4!!!

I personally would like to see the stock hit 10! <VBG> But I am willing to settle for 5 in the short term. <ggg>

Cheers!
Lily
