There are plenty of new longs waiting to do it. That's a common pattern when an established company spins off its IPO. Plus IDTC has a 14 million float which is only 10% short, so a borrow won't be hard.

Combine new shorts with temporary traders getting out on the surge and you get a hasty turnaround.

That's one theory. It will all show up on Level 2 pretty clearly.
