Wayne, having watched Pat quite a bit in KY over the years (the ones after he got himself cleaned-up), he always showed an uncanny ability to nurse leads and is one of the few jocks smart (sensitive?) enough not to panic if his front running mount is headed at the top of the stretch. I can't count the number of times he's won a race after another jock has expended too much energy to get the lead at the quarter pole. On the other hand, it's a very rare occurrence to see somebody else pull it off. In my opinion, he's the perfect jock for Cat Thief.
